A fashion blog is a place to talk about the things I like, the kind of people I like, the places I like to go, and the things I love to do but never have an opportunity to do them. It’s also a place for the occasional fun things I want to try if someone wants to give me some ideas because even though it would be embarrassing, I'm sure you'll like it. It’s just an amazing way to make a living and have your own space (no one's judging). So without further ado, let's get into this topic.
The first thing I want to say before we start any of this is that I'm not going to be talking about all the different kinds of clothes and trends. Because no matter what I say, it still won't make sense that way. Also, while writing all of these things down I thought back to everything I want to tell next week, which I'll probably put on Facebook tomorrow.
Next, I want to show a couple of pictures of my current collection:
I can only imagine how excited I was when I wrote this last week! For anyone who looks at their closet and feels like crap, just grab this picture up. This collection will always be one great work of art and if it doesn't it still can be considered as one big effort for someone to work. And it will never fail to impress me and maybe even change my mind about myself. Just saying.
So how has my life been getting better? To start with I've started studying again after giving it some time to adjust to the new school schedule my parents decided to split us into two classes. Which means we both are now attending 6 classes each day. We have our group project due in 2 weeks. I already finished making notes on almost every class but maybe a little more on the ones I'm struggling too. And finally, our teacher suggested that we should take our exams online so I'm hoping to have a chance to see how much better I can do with this type of study. But yeah, we're working through it. Not that much on my side, but we'll let you know what's on my end soon. I will not say how long of course and my reasons for doing it or even if to do it. For now, just wait until next week when my last exam arrives and see what's on my hand!
Now that I know what I need I can move on to other things. What's your look-a-like? Maybe you don't like wearing anything the same, but I bet they aren't as bad. You look great whatever the case is (for you, I mean like you're doing it right) so go ahead and write something! Now let's talk about the most essential parts of your wardrobe. All I'm doing here is creating one. It’s a lot I think but honestly, it’s pretty simple. The first step is simply figuring out what you want to wear. Then that’s when you need to figure out anything that matches this “closet”. Lastly, you need to find what clothes to buy that will look good enough and add the pieces you need. There are lots of examples that I found online from designers that show exactly how easy it is to get creative in your clothes with a few simple steps. Another point that I want to mention is all of that would just take me longer. So let's talk instead about how short a time I had to focus on my look.
There are five steps:
1. Find clothes that are well-fitted, comfortable, can be dressed up or down, and looks decent on an everyday basis.
2. Add the necessary accessories in order on top of the clothes.
3. Fill the empty spaces in your closet.
4. Buy clothes based on what you want. Be unique, not generic, and make choices.
5. Go out and enjoy fashion.
So where was the problem? Well, it took all of those phases. That’s why my second list could take only about 5 things while my first may be bigger. My first list took me over 10 hours as I went over and over and over until I had my outfit ready in my head. Of course, the same happens in the second place. If you ask me, it does take me more than 5 (or more than that). As for the accessories I wanted, since there are so many different types it just keeps growing and growing and growing. Here are a few that I’m planning to add to my next collection:
- chain belt: for extra comfort and just being extra stylish, it’s perfect for jeans and dresses.
- jewelry: to have some extra style without looking like a bridesmaid, I'm goanna go for something small like a bracelet or earrings to help out your look with some extra flair. Since I didn’t have it here it won't be a huge amount of money. Plus, it can keep your look nice and tidy.
- shoes: because why not? I got all the pieces I needed in store because I am very specific in the clothes, I buy them in and so buying them in some other brand can create confusion. With this purchase it will be clear enough to look good, but it’ll also fit perfectly on any casual occasion. This will be my second pair of boots and I plan to have another this year (I did have a hard time finding the last pair.)
- hoodie: I had this one in college and I’ve been waiting for it for a long time. I bought it when I first started attending university. Again, when I had it in my hands, I felt like it had the potential to make me more fashionable too. Especially when it comes to street fashion. Just because it’s a hoodie (or pants of some sort), it can easily match any kind of clothing. And also keep you warm in cold seasons. Just a personal note: I’m goanna have something similar in white, black, green, yellow, brown, pink, orange, purple...and red next month. Hope you like it too.
So what will I be doing with my second collection? Probably just added some items from my old one and some clothes from my third one. While having this picture of myself makes it easier to decide on my clothes, it’s still not a guarantee it’ll do any damage to them. When it comes to the collections my mother doesn’t like them because her collections always have some issues, and I haven’t seen any yet. She doesn’t care if they are either a negative impact on it or a positive effect on it. She knows what she likes. Next time after my final exams on 15th October we’ll see. Until then I just want to do what I do best to get what I want to have. Yes, this is my dream. No, I don’t have any pressure on myself or my future self. Everyone has a choice of what they want and what they like to wear and that’s okay. Don’t make yourself feel bad if your mom doesn’t. Believe it or not, I appreciate it.
